JANE J. BAI

Physiotherapist – Orthopaedic

Jane J. Bai graduated from McGill University’s Physical Therapy Program & has been practicing as a Registered Physiotherapist in downtown Toronto, Canada. Her passion in pelvic health stemmed from attending an elective course offered at McGill on Female Incontinence. Since then, she has continued her education by taking eight additional courses related to pelvic health in men and women, attending international conferences and attending ongoing webinars to stay current in her evidence-based physiotherapy practice.

Early on, she saw a gap in knowledge translation amongst those suffering in silence with pelvic floor dysfunction & their understanding of how to manage their condition and/or symptoms. In 2019, she conceived & gave birth to Pelvic Pro; a knowledge translation and virtual pelvic health & orthopaedic physiotherapy company which is meant to bridge that gap! Pelvic Pro’s mission is to educate and empower the community by being accessible to those suffering in silence with pelvic health dysfunction to be ‘Pelvic Pros’ themselves and finally take back control of their well-being!

Her training in pelvic floor dysfunction, with the Toronto-based company, Pelvic Health Solutions, has diversified her scope of practice in treating & assessing adults and children with urinary incontinence, persistent & complex pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual pain & dysfunction, tail-bone pain, gastro-intestinal disorders, chronic constipation, pre- and postnatal care, post-surgical and post-cancer care.

JULIENNE DIVA

Meditation Facilitator, Reiki Master and Founder of The Presence Of.

Julienne always knew that she would become a teacher, but not necessarily along a traditional path. However, she never quite knew when and how this desire would manifest.

As a child, her grandmother nurtured her with natural remedies and family members expressed their intuitive abilities which inspired her to discover more about the world of holistic and energy medicine. At the time, she was 8 and had a natural curiosity. She read books, began collecting crystals, and organizing them in her clubhouse with her sister. They were fascinated with them, not knowing at the time the full significance and strength of their metaphysical properties.

Over the years, practicing yoga and meditation has further deepened her sense of self, helped her to manifest stillness, clarity and given Julienne a greater capacity for love and compassion. It’s through her practice that she discovered her gift to teach and become an example for others to find their inner voice, reconnect to their higher selves and courageously live their truth.

Julienne brings a unique offering of meditation experiences, movement and workshops. She is a Usui and Kundalini Reiki Master, 200 RYT certified with an emphasis on Kundalini Meditation, and has also completed the Landmark Curriculum for Living.

In 2016, she began leading meditation classes at Veritas Communications in a space she created called The Peace Room. The room is a reserved space for individual meditation and for students of the Veritas Mindfulness Program. She believes in the effectiveness of working in an environment that uses tools to practice mindfulness and has brought her integrative healing practice to the workplace to increase a greater capacity for wellness, creativity, and empowerment amongst her colleagues.

Her purpose is to serve the next generation of leaders looking to expand their minds and hearts by providing tools to connect their body, mind and spirit — so they can recognize their own power and awaken to their full potential.

DR. DIANE MEYER

Chiropractic Doctor

I graduate from McMaster University with a BSc in Biology and completed Chiropractic school in Toronto in 1994. I had a special interest in pediatrics and through further study obtained a Fellowship with the ICPA (international Chiropractic Pediatric Association) in 1994. My passion for enhancing the birth experience inspired further study and in 2005 I received Diplomate status (3 year program) with the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics.

My journey with Chiropractic began when I as a teen had an unrelenting headache which Stumped the medical system. I was X-rayed, scanned, poked and prodded, and medicated with still no resolution. After two months of this headache a friend suggested a chiropractor. What did a chiropractor have to do with headaches? I had nothing to lose and thankfully my parents had an open mind to try something different within a few days the headache left and within a few weeks I found my calling.

Since that experience I have been blessed to share in the wellness journey with thousands of individuals. I have participated in bringing babies into the world and I have helped others soar to amazing levels of health that seemed impossible. I have been witness to unbelievable miracles and am humbled daily by the amazing innate power within each of us. Currently, my focus is on family wellness care. I offer my patients ongoing information and guidance to stretch the possibility of what wellness can be and how to achieve it.

Dr. Meyer has also published ‘The successful chiropractic care of pediatric patients with chronic constipation’ study in Clinical Chiropractic. She also wrote an article Pull the plug!” for the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Angela has always believed in empowering women to reach their full potential. She began her career as a journalist, following her passion for writing. Then she landed an unexpected job teaching English as a Second Language for the local school board. Her love for teaching children began her path of mindfulness and growth. When she got pregnant with her first daughter, she decided to spend the next six years as a stay-at-home mother, raising her four, beautiful children (all born in 3 years). During her time home with her kids, she studied for her BA in both English and Psychology. She became a support for twin moms, a breastfeeding advocate, and then a surrogate mother for a gay couple – twice.
